About the Role
Canvas is hiring a Procurement Engineer for our client in the Oil & Gas industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing technical procurement processes, evaluating vendors, and ensuring timely availability of materials and equipment for operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage technical procurement of equipment and materials
- Evaluate vendors based on technical and commercial criteria
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams for procurement requirements
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Support sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management activities
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial)
- 2–7 years of procurement experience in Oil & Gas or heavy industry
- Strong understanding of technical procurement processes
- Ability to evaluate vendors and manage supplier relationships
- Good coordination and communication skills
