About the Role

Canvas is hiring a Backend Developer for our client in the Technology & SaaS industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing robust backend systems, building scalable APIs, and supporting the overall application architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain APIs using Python (FastAPI / Django)
• Design and manage databases and backend architecture
• Integrate third-party services and APIs
• Ensure application security, performance, and scalability
• Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams for seamless integration

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 2–4 years of experience in Python backend development
• Strong expertise in API development and database management
• Familiarity with backend frameworks like FastAPI or Django
• Exposure to cloud technologies is a plus
