About the Role
Canvas is hiring a PHP Developer for one of our clients in the IT industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PHP development and a strong understanding of backend systems, database management, and scalable web applications.
This role requires practical exposure to developing, maintaining, and optimizing PHP-based applications in a structured development environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain PHP-based web applications
- Work with MySQL databases and backend integrations
- Collaborate with frontend and QA teams
- Optimize applications for performance and security
- Maintain clean, reusable, and scalable code
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2–4 years of PHP development experience
- Strong knowledge of Laravel and/or Core PHP
- Experience with APIs, MySQL, and Git
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
